For immediate release: Orlando, October 9, 2006 ATLANTIC-ACM, a leading telecommunications research consultancy, announced today that it delivered its 2006 Metro Carrier Excellence Awards and its 2006 Global Wholesale Carrier Excellence Awards at CompTel’s Fall Convention and Expo at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida.

Metro Carrier Excellence Awards presented today were based on the results of the 2006 Metro Carrier Report Card, which evaluates the performance of Metro Carriers by their wholesale and business customers and is based on more than 5,000 individual carrier evaluations. Global Wholesale Awards were based on results from the 2006 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM’s Global Wholesale Carrier Report Card, which evaluates the performance of wholesale carriers from ratings by their resale customers, and were presented as follows:
